Heritage-style double casement window, outward opening

Bloomcabin 2 Casements with 1 Horizontal Glazing Bar. This historic side-hung window combines two outward-opening casements with a subtle horizontal glazing bar. The bar gives the traditional double-casement appearance a clear structure while preserving its calm, balanced overall effect.

Why choose this Bloomcabin design?

1. Historic horizontal detail

The single horizontal glazing bar gives the glass a subtle horizontal emphasis. Together with the two casements, it creates a balanced historic window appearance with clean, well-defined lines.

2. Traditional outward opening

Side-hung casements open outwards, reflecting traditional construction. This preserves the historic appearance while providing practical operation and requiring no swing space inside the room.

3. High energy efficiency

Energy-efficient features complement the historic character with modern comfort. They support a welcoming atmosphere and a considered approach to energy use.

As a historic side-hung window with two outward-opening casements, this design suits renovations and new builds seeking a traditional appearance with one horizontal glazing bar. The bar divides the glazed area across its width while the historic form remains clearly recognisable. Both casements open outwards, creating a calm rhythm across the elevation. The division is understated and classic, making it easy to select a configuration that suits your project.
