Historic “Kombi” casement window, outward opening

Bloomcabin 1 fixed light without glazing bars, 1 sash with 1 horizontal and 2 vertical glazing bars. This historic, side-hung combination window opens outwards, pairing 1 plain fixed light with 1 sash divided by 1 horizontal and 2 vertical glazing bars. The restrained fixed pane makes the sash’s pronounced grid a distinctive focal point.

Why choose this Bloomcabin design?

1. Distinctive sash division

The fixed light without glazing bars feels open and calm. One horizontal and two vertical glazing bars structure the sash, creating an expressive, clearly recognisable grid.

2. Open and divided

The clear glass area of the fixed section provides a calm counterpoint. The side-hung sash opens outwards and carries the complete glazing-bar arrangement in this design.

3. High energy efficiency

The window supports a comfortable indoor atmosphere and an energy-efficient building envelope design.

This historic version suits façades where a fixed light without glazing bars is paired with a distinctly divided, outward-opening sash. The contrast draws attention to the opening section. The fixed light remains entirely free of glazing bars. Two vertical glazing bars define the sash division, while one horizontal glazing bar completes the grid in balanced fashion. This contrast makes the two window sections easy to distinguish. The precise layout reinforces the historic character of the design.
