Historic “Kombi” casement window, outward opening

Bloomcabin 1 fixed pane with 1 horizontal and 1 vertical glazing bar, and 1 sash with 1 horizontal and 1 vertical glazing bar. This historic, side-hung combination window opens outwards, pairing a fixed pane with an opening sash in the same grid. Matching horizontal and vertical bars give both sections a balanced, traditional appearance.

Why choose this Bloomcabin design?

1. Consistent glazing-bar pattern

One horizontal and one vertical glazing bar divide both the fixed pane and the sash. This repeated grid creates a calm, balanced look and gives the façade a carefully ordered finish.

2. Fixed and opening sections

The fixed pane forms the non-opening section, while the side-hung sash opens outwards. With the same glazing-bar layout, the two parts appear to belong naturally together.

3. High energy efficiency

This window design supports a comfortable interior and an energy-efficient building envelope.

This historic design suits façades where a fixed pane and outward-opening sash should share identical horizontal and vertical glazing bars. The repeated grid brings the overall window together with a coherent appearance. Both sections display the same precise bar layout, linking the fixed pane and sash with ease. Horizontal and vertical lines create a balanced view, while the regular division reinforces the traditional character and keeps the opening sash visually integrated.
