Historic-Style “Kombi” Outward-Opening Side-Hung Window

Bloomcabin 1 fixed pane with 1 horizontal and 1 vertical glazing bar, 1 sash with 2 horizontal and 1 vertical glazing bars. This historic-style, side-hung combination window opens outwards, combining a fixed pane with 1 horizontal and 1 vertical glazing bar and a sash with 2 horizontal and 1 vertical glazing bars. Its stepped glazing-bar arrangement creates an individual yet orderly rhythm.

Why choose this Bloomcabin design?

1. Stepped glazing-bar division

The fixed pane is divided by one horizontal and one vertical glazing bar. In the sash, two horizontal and one vertical glazing bars add a more varied structure to the window.

2. Differently divided sections

The stationary section provides a calm visual reference point. Its side-hung sash opens outwards and makes a noticeable design statement through its additional horizontal glazing bar.

3. High energy efficiency

The construction supports a comfortable interior feel and an energy-efficient building envelope.

This historic-style, side-hung combination window is suited to projects wanting a divided fixed pane and an outward-opening sash with a stronger horizontal emphasis. The patterns remain clearly related. The sash carries two horizontal and one vertical glazing bars, while the fixed pane has one horizontal and one vertical glazing bar. Their differing divisions create a varied rhythm, yet both grids stay visibly connected within the design.
