Historic-Style “Kombi” Outward-Opening Side-Hung Window

Bloomcabin 1 fixed pane with 1 vertical glazing bar, 1 sash with 1 vertical glazing bar. This historic-style, side-hung combination window opens outwards and combines a fixed pane and sash, each with 1 vertical glazing bar. The repeated vertical division gives both window sections a coherent, classically inspired appearance.

Why choose this Bloomcabin design?

1. Continuous vertical division

One vertical glazing bar in the fixed pane and one in the sash establish a consistent upright division. Their parallel lines bring structure and balanced order to the window elevation.

2. Visually connected

The fixed pane forms the stationary section, while the side-hung sash opens outwards. Matching vertical divisions visually connect the two parts.

3. High energy efficiency

The construction supports a comfortable interior feel and an energy-efficient building envelope.

This historic-style side-hung combination window suits building projects requiring one vertical glazing bar in both the fixed pane and outward-opening sash. Repetition creates a clear visual relationship between the sections. Each part has exactly one vertical glazing bar, and the parallel linework ties fixed pane and sash together. The recurring motif produces a calm overall elevation, while the opening sash sits neatly within the design. Its vertical division subtly reinforces the historic character.
