Kombi Outward-Opening Side-Hung Window

Bloomcabin 1 fixed pane without glazing bars, 1 sash with 1 horizontal and 1 vertical glazing bar. This combination window pairs fixed glazing with an outward-opening side-hung sash. Its horizontal and vertical bars make a classic cross.

Why choose this Bloomcabin design?

1. Cross motif

The fixed pane remains clear while one horizontal and one vertical bar cross the sash. Their contrast creates a crisp, deliberately asymmetric window composition.

2. Accentuated opening sash

The side-hung sash opens outwards beside the fixed glazing. Its crossed bars emphasise the movable section without disturbing the fixed pane’s calm surface.

3. Energy-efficient design

Energy-efficient construction supports comfortable living and a pleasant interior, pairing the window’s classic decorative detail with contemporary expectations of comfort.

This design suits façades that combine calm fixed glazing with a clearly divided opening sash, whether the scheme is classic or intentionally asymmetric. A plain fixed pane contrasts with horizontal and vertical bars on the sash, producing a familiar cross motif. Balanced proportions help relate the window to the architecture and desired façade character. When choosing a configuration, consider the proportions, façade divisions and intended overall effect together.
