Two-Sash Outward-Opening Casement Window

Bloomcabin 2 sashes with 1 horizontal glazing bar. This side-hung window brings together two outward-opening sashes and a single horizontal glazing bar. The bar gives the design a balanced division while leaving a generous expanse of glass in view.

Why choose this Bloomcabin design?

1. Horizontal definition

One horizontal glazing bar runs across both sashes, bringing calm order to the window face without overwhelming its two-sash character or the expanse of glass.

2. Side-hung sashes

Both sashes are hinged at the side and open outwards. This retains the familiar window appearance, while the opening movement takes place outside and keeps room inside clear.

3. High energy efficiency

Designed for energy-efficient living comfort, this window supports a pleasant indoor atmosphere and mindful everyday energy use.

This outward-opening, side-hung two-sash window suits homes and renovation projects where one horizontal glazing bar should give the façade subtle structure. 2 sashes with 1 horizontal glazing bar offers well-balanced proportions, making it easier to coordinate the design with the architecture and the desired façade character. The window or door design can therefore sit harmoniously within contemporary, traditional or carefully restored buildings.
