Modano – Nordic Garden House with a Configurable Glass-to-Wall Layout
The Modano garden house pairs a restrained timber form with generous daylight and Nordic craft character for the backyard.
Carefully finished solid spruce, broad panes and a crisp outline make an airy setting for a garden retreat, creative studio or work-from-home space.
Offered in sizes from 6.73 to 10.23 m², the range provides options for different garden layouts.
For the enclosure, specify additional glazing when daylight matters most, or a higher proportion of solid wall when privacy matters more. The balance can reflect your preferred look and intended use.
Timber warmth, contemporary form
The structure uses 44 mm solid Nordic spruce, combining robust construction with the welcoming grain and ambience of natural wood.
Precisely milled tongue-and-groove joints create a tight, stable shell. A pressure-treated substructure helps shield the timber from moisture over the long term.
Wide sliding glass doors open sightlines to the garden and soften the boundary between indoors and out while keeping the room bright.
A low-profile roof with practical details
The flat roof keeps the silhouette understated, while a roof area of up to 10.23 m² gives the structure effective overhead cover.
The precisely finished roof and floor boards (18.5 × 90 mm) add rigidity, long service life and weather resistance to the structure.
Because the side wall and ridge are both 2.39 m high , the interior offers comfortable headroom and an open setting for focused work, hobbies or a quiet break.
Kit construction with long-term appeal
Modano is supplied as a carefully prefabricated self-assembly kit , accompanied by detailed directions that keep each stage clear.
Compact and larger versions follow the same premium build standard, so choosing a size does not mean trading away material or finish quality.
