Warranty

Bloomcabin uses ongoing industrial quality-control processes to maintain its product standards. This page sets out the manufacturer’s commercial warranty. It begins when the delivery document is signed or delivery is completed. Subject to the manufacturer’s transport, storage and use requirements, covered defects in product parts, fittings or components may be remedied through repair or replacement. These can include issues with design, function, fittings, paint or coating quality, and bent wooden parts. Review the periods, conditions and exclusions below.

Bloomcabin commercial warranty terms

Warranty periods

  • 12 years for the aluminium alloy.
  • 10 years for the paint/powder coating where it peels, discolours or loses gloss. Some reduction in gloss is normal; manufacturer tolerances apply.
  • 5 years for rubber seals and their elasticity.
  • 7 years for manufacturing defects in the glass.
  • 5 years for PVC parts and their UV resistance.

Conditions of warranty

The warranty certificate begins on the day the delivery document is signed or delivery has taken place, and remains valid for the periods stated above. It covers replacement of defective product parts or fittings by supplying replacement parts where there is inadequate structural function, fitting failure, or an issue with the paint/powder-coating quality. Coverage applies only when the transport, storage and operating conditions below are observed.

Transport and delivery

  • During transport and storage, greenhouses must be kept upright at an angle of 85-90 degrees.
  • Protect them from weather and store them on a level surface in a clean, dry location.
  • Delivery transport must have an enclosed cargo area.
  • When unpacking and storing greenhouses, place them on a pallet or raised support.
  • Do not load or lean greenhouses against one another.
  • When the order arrives, the customer must check that the delivered greenhouses match the order and are undamaged. Any damage arising during or before transport must be reported immediately and recorded on the delivery document.

Storage

  • Factory packaging is intended for transport only.
  • Do not cover or wrap greenhouses in airtight material while they are in storage.
  • Store greenhouses in a well-ventilated space at a relative humidity of 55-60% or less.

Installation

  • Follow the installation instructions precisely.
  • After installation, adjust the greenhouse where necessary.

Commercial warranty exclusions

  • Bloomcabin’s commercial warranty is void if the installation instructions or manuals are not followed.
  • Insufficient maintenance.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Non-original parts and accessories used or installed by the customer at their own risk.
  • Custom-made or specially ordered parts are excluded from Bloomcabin’s commercial warranty. Where Quebec consumer law governs, covered hardware, tools and construction materials also carry automatic legal warranties of normal use, reasonable durability and freedom from hidden defects. Those legal warranties are separate from this commercial promise, and durability depends on factors such as price, the contract and conditions of use rather than a fixed number of years.
