Outward-Opening Bifold Doors

Bloomcabin 3 panels with 2 horizontal bars, folding right. The leaves open outdoors and collect at the right edge. Their 2 cross-bars add an even cadence while the larger glazed areas continue to feel open.

A closer look at this option

1. Two bands across the glazing

Across all 3 glazed panels, 2 horizontal bars establish a repeated band. They give the elevation a recognizable rhythm without overpowering the larger areas of glass.

2. How the panels travel

The leaves move toward the exterior, then gather at the right edge. This known travel path helps position the door within the intended outdoor transition.

3. Comfort-conscious construction

The comfort-focused construction is intended to support strong energy performance and pleasant indoor conditions in every season.

This option works where an exterior opening calls for orderly glass divisions. The 2 bars create a balanced repeat across 3 leaves, and the folded group finishes on the right. When choosing the final version, consider how its proportions relate to the façade, whether the building is contemporary, traditional or being carefully renovated.
