Super Low Uw Passive House Window, Outward Opening

Bloomcabin Across its 1 sash, 1 decorative bar runs horizontally and 1 runs vertically. These intersecting details give the outward-opening Passive House window a balanced, cross-shaped presence.

Why consider this Bloomcabin arrangement?

1. A cross formed within the sash

Inside the sash, the sideways and upright bars meet to establish the design’s signature cross. Their placement organizes the glass with clarity and even visual weight.

2. Calm in both directions

A level line provides visual steadiness while the upright adds height. Together they reinterpret traditional divided glazing in a crisp, structured way.

3. Energy performance considered

This version is intended to support a comfortable interior and the project’s high-efficiency goals.

When a Passive House-focused project calls for a distinct cross division, this model provides it within one sash. The intersection defines four visible sections and gives the exterior an even cadence. Its layout uses 1 sash; the decorative treatment consists of 1 crosswise bar and 1 upright bar. The well-judged proportions simplify coordination with the architecture and the exterior character being planned. When deciding, view the sash proportions, the wider facade composition and the intended overall effect as one design exercise.
