Heritage-Style “Kombi” Outward-Opening Casement Window

Bloomcabin The layout comprises 1 stationary pane and 1 opening sash, with 1 upright glazing bar in each. The traditional Kombi sash is side-hinged and opens towards the exterior. Mirrored vertical detailing gives the fixed and opening portions a coherent, classically proportioned appearance.

What sets this Bloomcabin design apart?

1. A continuous upright rhythm

Matching upright bars mark the fixed pane and sash, establishing a continuous vertical rhythm. Parallel detailing gives the elevation definition, balance and order.

2. Two sections, one composition

While the first section stays fixed, the adjacent sash opens outwards on side hinges. A corresponding vertical bar on each section brings visual unity.

3. Comfort-conscious construction

The construction supports room comfort and high energy efficiency across the building envelope.

Designed for projects with period character, this side-hinged Kombi layout gives the fixed pane and outward-swinging sash 1 upright glazing bar apiece. Repetition establishes a visible relationship between the two areas. Each section therefore carries exactly 1 vertical bar. Parallel detailing leads the eye across stationary and operable portions, keeping the elevation composed. The repeated motif lends the overall view a quiet quality, while the sash remains clearly integrated. Upright divisions add a restrained historical note.
