Heritage-Style “Kombi” Outward-Opening Casement Window

Bloomcabin The composition has 1 fixed light with no glazing bars and 1 sash carrying 1 horizontal glazing bar alongside 2 vertical glazing bars. The historic-style Kombi sash is side hung and opens outwards. Quiet, uninterrupted glass on the stationary side directs attention towards the opening section’s pronounced grid.

Why choose this Bloomcabin design?

1. Distinct sash division

The fixed light appears spacious because no glazing bars divide it. A characterful pattern distinguishes the sash, formed by 1 horizontal glazing bar and 2 upright glazing bars.

2. Open yet detailed

Clear glazing in the stationary section provides a quiet counterbalance. Beside it, the hinged sash moves outwards and contains all the glazing-bar detail.

3. Comfort with energy efficiency

The construction promotes room comfort and contributes to an energy-efficient exterior envelope.

Period-influenced façades can combine calm, uninterrupted fixed glazing with the detail of this divided outward-opening sash. The stationary pane remains entirely free of glazing bars, making the movable element more prominent. Its pattern is shaped by 2 upright glazing bars and finished with 1 horizontal glazing bar. The contrast keeps both sections distinct, while the precise grid supports the historic design language.
