Historic-Style Two-Sash Outward-Opening Casement Window

Bloomcabin Bloomcabin’s configuration comprises 2 sashes carrying 1 horizontal and 2 vertical glazing bars apiece. Hinged at the sides, the heritage-led sashes swing outwards. Repeating these subdivisions across the window lends the glazing a delicate, orderly appearance.

Reasons to select this Bloomcabin pattern

1. A slender glazing grid

On each sash, 2 uprights meet 1 horizontal bar. Upright lines accentuate height; the level member counters them, leaving the overall division composed and even.

2. A coordinated pair

The pair uses identical bar spacing and side hinges, with both leaves opening outwards. That repetition gives the elevation a coherent, regular beat suited to a traditional composition.

3. Efficient home comfort

A comfortable indoor setting is supported by energy-efficient construction, so traditional detailing can serve contemporary expectations without feeling out of place.

This option complements period elevations, conventionally styled homes and carefully specified renovation work. A restrained grid with a clear vertical bias gives the glazing its finer character. Both of the 2 sashes carry 1 horizontal and 2 vertical glazing bars. Relate those proportions to the surrounding architecture and intended exterior appearance, considering the window shape, façade rhythm and complete visual effect together when making the selection.
