Historic-style outward-opening "Kombi" casement window

Bloomcabin 1 fixed pane without glazing bars, 1 sash with 1 horizontal and 2 vertical glazing bars. This historic side-hung combination window opens outwards, pairing 1 unbarred fixed pane with 1 sash divided by 1 horizontal and 2 vertical glazing bars. The restrained fixed section highlights the sash’s defined grid.

Why choose this Bloomcabin design?

1. Distinctive sash division

The unbarred fixed pane feels open and calm. One horizontal and two vertical glazing bars divide the sash, creating a bold, readily recognisable grid.

2. Open and divided

Uninterrupted glass makes the fixed section a calm counterpoint. The side-hung sash opens outwards and carries this version’s full glazing-bar pattern.

3. Energy-efficient design

This window supports interior comfort and energy-efficient building-envelope design.

This historic version suits façades combining an unbarred fixed pane with a clearly divided, outward-opening sash. The contrast draws attention to the opening section. The fixed pane remains completely free of glazing bars, while two vertical bars shape the sash and one horizontal bar completes its balanced grid. Each section is therefore easy to distinguish, and the precise arrangement reinforces the window’s traditional architectural character.
