Historic-style outward-opening "Kombi" casement window

Bloomcabin 1 fixed pane without glazing bars, 1 sash with 2 horizontal and 1 vertical glazing bar. This historic side-hung combination window opens outwards, joining 1 unbarred fixed pane to 1 sash with 2 horizontal and 1 vertical glazing bar. The open fixed section and finely divided sash create a versatile, classic appearance.

Why choose this Bloomcabin design?

1. Horizontal emphasis

The unbarred fixed pane provides calm, open glazing. Two horizontal bars and one vertical bar give the sash a balanced, detailed grid.

2. Light and grid

The fixed section remains stationary while the side-hung sash opens outwards. Its glazing bars create a deliberate contrast with the uninterrupted fixed pane.

3. Energy-efficient design

This window supports interior comfort and energy-efficient building-envelope design.

This historic, side-hung combination window suits designs pairing an unbarred fixed pane with an outward-opening sash and strong horizontal division. The contrast stays clear and balanced. The fixed pane has no glazing bars, while two horizontal bars emphasise the opening sash and one vertical bar completes its layout. Open glazing provides a calm visual counterpoint, and the stepped grid lends the façade a classically inspired appearance.
