Garden and Outdoor Games

A familiar board game, on a larger scale

Bring Ludo off the table This giant Ludo game brings the familiar race to the finish to a 3 × 3 m PVC playing mat. It includes coloured playing pieces and a large die. Players move their pieces according to each roll, aiming to get all their own pieces to the finish first. The game is described for indoor and outdoor play, including family gatherings, parties, schools, camps and group activities.

The details that make it a group game

1. A 3 × 3 m playing area: The large-format mat provides the Ludo course for players to gather around. Check its dimensions against the space you plan to use.
2. PVC playing mat: The mat is made from PVC. For play, place it on a clean, level surface.
3. Coloured playing pieces: The coloured pieces help players follow their progress around the course and towards the finish.
4. A large die sets the moves: Roll the die to determine each move, then advance your pieces along the course. The aim is to get all your pieces to the finish first.
5. For indoor or outdoor occasions: The game is described for settings ranging from family events to school and group activities. After play, clean and dry the mat, then fold it and store it somewhere dry. When playing outside, do not leave it for a prolonged time in rain or direct sunlight.
