MIDA LIGHT G bitumen roof underlay

A roll underlay for bitumen shingles MIDA LIGHT G is an SBS-modified bitumen underlay designed for use beneath bitumen shingles. The 1 x 10 m roll covers 10 m², giving you a clearly defined coverage area to consider when planning your roof build-up. It is an underlay, not a standalone exposed roof covering.

Product details

1. Made for use beneath bitumen shingles: Use it as an underlay beneath bitumen shingles, rather than as the finished roof surface. Check the requirements for your roof and the shingle manufacturer’s installation guidance before choosing and fitting an underlay.
2. SBS-modified bitumen: The roll is made from SBS-modified bitumen with fibreglass reinforcement. The reinforcement is specified as 60 g/m².
3. Sanded on both sides: Both the upper and lower surfaces are sanded. This is a construction detail of the material, not a separate roof covering.
4. 10 m² roll coverage: The roll measures 1 x 10 m and has a stated coverage of 10 m². Use these product measurements to assess the quantity needed for your project; installation requirements may affect the amount required.
5. Roll weight: The stated roll weight is 18.5 kg. This is the product weight; the listed package weight is 19 kg.
