Prepare exterior wood for a topcoat

A primer for exterior wood VIVACOLOR Villa Protekt is a clear alkyd-oil primer for exterior wood above ground. Use it on untreated wood before an oil- or acrylic-based topcoat. It is also listed for wood previously treated with oil paint. The 10 L container is suitable for projects involving sawn or planed wood.

1. For above-ground exterior wood: Listed uses include exterior cladding, doors, window frames and fences. The primer is also specified for thermally modified wood.
2. Prepare the surface first: Remove dust, dirt and any loose paint before application. The wood should be clean and dry; pay particular attention to the edges and ends.
