Loosen soil with a foot-pedal cultivator

A hand cultivator with added leverage. This hand cultivator is supplied with an attachable foot pedal. Its rotating tines work into the soil, and pressing the pedal provides extra leverage when lifting the working part back out. It is intended for loosening compacted, clay-rich or grass-covered soil, and for preparing planting areas in garden beds, greenhouses and raised beds.

Practical details

1. Foot pedal for lifting: Once the tines are in the soil, press down on the pedal to help lever the cultivator back out. The pedal provides an additional point of leverage for this movement.
2. Rotating tines: The tines turn into the ground as you work. Their shape is intended to catch weed roots and bring them up with the soil, rather than simply cutting off the foliage.
3. Works without fully turning the soil: The cultivator is designed to loosen soil without completely turning over its layers. This can be useful when working in established beds.
4. Spring-return pedal: A spring mechanism returns the pedal to its starting position when released, ready for the next movement.
5. Steel construction: The cultivator is made from steel and comes with a foot pedal that attaches to the tool.
