Greenhouses and Greenhouse Accessories

A greenhouse with room to plan

Meet the Fermer 6 x 30 m This greenhouse measures 6 m wide by 30 m long, with a stated growing area of 180 m². It has a clear polycarbonate covering and a galvanised steel frame. Check its dimensions and access points against your site and intended layout.

Plan around the key details

1. A 180 m² growing area: The 6 m width and 30 m length give you a long area to organise for growing. Its stated overall height is 3.8 m, another measurement to consider when planning the position and layout.
2. Clear polycarbonate covering: The covering is listed as clear polycarbonate. The source gives conflicting thickness information, so no panel thickness is stated here.
3. Galvanised steel frame: The frame is galvanised steel, with a listed profile of 40 x 40 x 1.2 mm. Galvanising is also specified as its rust protection.
4. Double arches: The product description identifies a double-arch frame, with arches spaced 200 cm apart. The listed snow-load figure is 320 kg/m².
5. Doors at both ends: The product description specifies smaller integrated doors and larger opening leaves at both ends. Allow for access and door clearance when choosing where to position the greenhouse.
