Greenhouse Film Repair Tape

A clear tape for greenhouse film repairs This clear tape is intended for repairing greenhouse film. It measures 5 cm wide and 25 m long, and is made from polyethylene with a stated thickness of 150 microns. The transparent finish makes it less visually prominent against clear film.

Product details and use

1. 5 cm width, 25 m length: The tape is 5 cm wide and 25 m long. Compare these dimensions with the area you need to repair when checking whether it suits the job.
2. Transparent finish: Its clear colour is suited to repairs where you want the patch to remain visually unobtrusive on greenhouse film.
3. Polyethylene material: The tape is made from polyethylene, with a stated material thickness of 150 microns. These details identify the tape without implying a particular level of adhesion or weather resistance.
4. Made for greenhouse film repairs: Use it to patch damage such as a hole or tear in greenhouse film. It is a repair tape, rather than a replacement sheet of film.
5. Prepare the film before applying: For application, the supplied guidance is to remove dust, dirt and condensation, and make sure the film is dry and as taut as possible. Apply the tape to a flat area and press it along its length. For a larger hole, the guidance suggests applying tape on both sides.
