Historic “Kombi” outward-opening casement window

Bloomcabin 1 fixed light with 1 horizontal and 1 vertical glazing bar, plus 1 sash with 2 horizontal and 1 vertical glazing bars. This historic, side-hung combination window opens outwards, pairing the fixed light with the opening sash. Its stepped glazing-bar layout gives the elevation an individual yet orderly rhythm.

Why choose this Bloomcabin design?

1. Stepped glazing-bar layout

The fixed light is divided by one horizontal and one vertical glazing bar. In the sash, two horizontal and one vertical glazing bars create a more detailed window pattern.

2. Differently divided sections

The fixed section forms a calm visual anchor. The side-hung sash opens outwards, while its additional horizontal glazing bar provides a clearly visible design accent.

3. High energy efficiency

This construction supports a comfortable indoor atmosphere and an energy-efficient building envelope.

This historic, side-hung combination window suits projects that call for a divided fixed light and an outward-opening sash with stronger horizontal division. The grids remain clearly related. The sash has two horizontal and one vertical glazing bars; the fixed light has one horizontal and one vertical glazing bar. Their different divisions create a varied rhythm while keeping both patterns visually connected.
