Historic “Kombi” outward-opening casement window

Bloomcabin 1 fixed pane without glazing bars, 1 casement with 2 horizontal glazing bars and 1 vertical glazing bar. This historic, side-hung combination window opens outwards and combines 1 unbarred fixed pane with 1 casement featuring 2 horizontal and 1 vertical glazing bar. The open fixed section and finely divided casement create a versatile, classic window appearance.

Why choose this Bloomcabin design?

1. Emphasised horizontal division

The fixed pane without glazing bars offers a calm, open area of glass. Two horizontal glazing bars and one vertical bar divide the casement into a detailed, balanced grid.

2. Light and grid

The fixed section forms the stationary part of the combination, while the side-hung casement opens outwards. Its glazing bars create a deliberate contrast with the unobstructed fixed pane.

3. High energy efficiency

This window solution supports a comfortable interior atmosphere and an energy-efficient building envelope.

This historic, side-hung combination window suits schemes that pair an unbarred fixed pane with an outward-opening casement and a strongly horizontal division. The contrast is clear yet balanced. The fixed pane has no glazing bars, leaving an open, calm glass surface. Two horizontal bars emphasise the opening casement, while one vertical bar completes its arrangement. The stepped grid gives the window a classically inspired appearance and a composed presence on the façade.
