Classic Aluminium Greenhouse with Built-In Storage & Accoya Wood Fusion
Our greenhouse with built-in storage combines three things in one coherent garden structure: a bright growing space, a dedicated storage room and the warmth of natural Accoya® wood integrated into the design. It is for gardeners who want the practicality of a greenhouse and shed combination without placing two unrelated buildings next to each other.
We offer this Accoya Wood Fusion version in 20 different sizes, with either 4 mm toughened safety glass or polycarbonate, roof ventilation, integrated gutters and a built-in aluminium base. If storage is the priority, compare our wider greenhouses with storage range as well.

Grow on one side. Store on the other.
A separate storage room changes the way a greenhouse works day to day. Instead of carrying tools, compost, pots and watering equipment between the house, shed and greenhouse, you can keep the essentials beside the growing area.
The partitioned layout also helps keep the glazed growing zone visually calmer. Dirty tools, spare pots, bags of compost and seasonal accessories have their own place instead of accumulating beneath benches.
We designed the storage concept as part of the greenhouse rather than an afterthought. You can learn more about the wider construction principles in our aluminium greenhouse information.
A greenhouse, storage room and design feature in one
This product is not simply a Classic greenhouse with decoration added. Its value comes from combining gardening workflow, storage and architecture.
Integrated storage
Keep tools, pots, compost and accessories directly beside the growing zone.
20 size options
Choose a compact or larger configuration depending on how much growing and storage space you need.
Accoya Wood Fusion
Natural timber warmth softens the aluminium-and-glass architecture and gives the storage section a distinctive identity.
One coordinated footprint
Avoid adding a separate shed with a different style, roofline and position elsewhere in the garden.
What is Accoya wood — and why do we use it?
Accoya is real wood made from radiata pine that is modified through a process called acetylation. The treatment changes the wood through to its core so that it absorbs far less moisture than ordinary untreated timber.
That lower moisture uptake gives Accoya exceptional dimensional stability and resistance to rot, which is why it is widely used for demanding exterior applications such as façades, cladding, windows and doors. Accoya is classified as durability Class 1 and is backed by the wood manufacturer with a 50-year warranty for above-ground applications.
We use untreated Accoya because it gives the greenhouse a warmer architectural character while remaining suitable for long-term exterior use. As untreated timber naturally weathers, the appearance can gradually develop a silver-grey patina.
For more background on how we use this material, see our Accoya greenhouse design article and aluminium greenhouse FAQ.

The best layout starts with what you grow and what you need to store
Treat the greenhouse and storage room as two connected working zones rather than one room with a cupboard added.
Growing zone
Use the glazed section for the plants and jobs that benefit from light.
✓ Vegetable beds and containers
✓ Seedling and propagation benches
✓ Tomatoes, cucumbers and climbing crops
✓ Potting bench and watering points
Storage zone
Use the enclosed section for items that do not need sunlight and create clutter in the growing area.
✓ Hand tools and long-handled tools
✓ Pots, trays and labels
✓ Compost, feeds and gardening supplies
✓ Cushions, seasonal accessories and small equipment

Storage is especially useful when the greenhouse is used through wet and changeable seasons
In a UK garden, wet tools, muddy pots and bags of growing media can quickly make a greenhouse untidy. A dedicated storage section keeps these items close while separating them from the main growing environment.
Roof vents help manage temperature and humidity in the glazed section, while integrated gutters make rainwater management easier around the structure.

What can the built-in storage room actually do for you?
The best use depends on how you garden, but separating storage from cultivation creates options a standard greenhouse does not have.
Tool station
Create wall storage for hand tools, secateurs, watering equipment and long-handled tools.
Potting supply room
Keep pots, seed trays, labels, twine, compost and feeds together.
Seasonal garden store
Use shelves for cushions, small accessories and items that only come out at certain times of year.
Clean growing space
Move non-growing items out of the glasshouse so benches and paths remain focused on plants.
Storage beside the greenhouse saves repeated trips across the garden
Think about a normal gardening session: collect tools, fill pots, transplant seedlings, water, clean up and put everything away. When storage is integrated, these actions happen within one compact working area.
Place frequently used items closest to the dividing access point. Less-used seasonal equipment can go higher or deeper into the storage section.
Keeping chemicals, fertilisers and sharp tools organised is also easier when they have dedicated shelves rather than being scattered around the growing area. Always store products according to their own safety instructions.
Do not choose only by greenhouse floor area — choose by the balance between growing and storage
A gardener with extensive tools may value a larger storage proportion, while someone focused on tomatoes and propagation may prioritise the glazed zone. Think through both before choosing among the 20 size configurations.
The 235 cm-wide family is more compact and has a lower ridge and door height. The 310 cm-wide family creates a noticeably more spacious greenhouse and allows double sliding doors on sufficiently wide walls.
Plan internal shelving carefully so that stored equipment does not block circulation, doors or ventilation.

One combined building means one accurate foundation and one coordinated installation
The greenhouse and storage room share the same structure, so the base must be level and dimensionally accurate across the complete footprint.
Check the route from curbside delivery to the installation site, especially for long aluminium profiles and glazing. Leave enough temporary space near the foundation for organised assembly.
Our built-in aluminium base simplifies the interface with the prepared foundation, but the supporting surface still needs to be suitable for the complete structure.
The ordering process is explained in How to Order.
Why choose this instead of a standard Classic greenhouse or a separate shed?
A standard Classic greenhouse maximises growing space within a traditional greenhouse footprint. Choose it when virtually all of the structure should be dedicated to plants.
A separate shed offers storage, but it also requires another footprint, another roofline and another design decision in the garden.
Our Accoya Storage Greenhouse combines both functions in one architectural composition. Choose it when organisation and visual cohesion matter as much as growing space.
